Name:
Sophia
Dragonfly name:
Breeze
Gender:
Female
Dragonfly gender:
Male
Personality:
Sophia is a sweet, caring girl who often worries too much. She always is looking after Breeze, and wishes she could be as elegant as her fast-flying companion. She always is managing to fall, trip, or bump into things and has a little habit of saying "sorry" each and every time just in case she hit someone.
She doesn't just believe in being kind to others, though -- she believes you have to be kind to yourself before you can fully understand how others want to be treated. While she doesn't always abide by this herself -- she still tries her best. Though sometimes she blames herself for things that never were her fault.
Though she doesn't look it, when she is interested in doing something, Sophia will put her all into doing it. She'll put all her energy into doing one particular thing, keeping at it until it is no longer possible or finally finished; even then when not possible sometimes Sophia will try despite the repercussions to herself.
Sophia's voice is soft, just like she is emotionally. She gets hurt over the littlest things and tries to be strong by never showing her hurt, because she often sees no reason too. She realizes not many care to listen to others problems, no matter how much they say they don't mind. -- That's what she thinks, anyways. If someone catches her crying, she'll make up a lame excuse to avoid confrontation. In this way, she is stubborn, and many other ways. If something is not in the welfare of the animals, she will stay by her opinion and fight back, refusing.
She's a romantic at heart, and loves to read fairy tales with princesses and princes; the wonderful minds that made these stories often cause her to wonder about her own future. She loves to daydream in gardens, taking in the scenery and just thinking.
How Sophia met Breeze:
Sophia pranced through a forest, the sky giving a spring greeting of a light sprinkle. Sophia had always liked light sprinkles of rain that poured from the heavens in late spring; it caused all the scent to come lingering out, mostly of the plant life and Sophia loved the scent of the greenery. She hummed happily to herself, walking through the damp dew covered grass as she soon stepped in a small puddle. While it didn't bother her, she looked down at the puddle to look at the water - that's when she noticed a large insect drowning in the water... while dragonflies can normally land on water, something or someone must have pushed the poor thing right under it. She gasped softly, standing next to the puddle and coaxing the poor bug out of the water with her tail. She shielded it further with her body, preventing the rain from harming the already overwhelmed insect.
By the time the sprinkle stopped, the dragon fly was dry and the sun was peaking from behind the clouds as it's streams rolled down like liquid gold onto Sophia face. She looked down at the dragon fly and smiled, but soon was on her way to walking home. "Bye little dragon fly!" She hummed, but the dragon fly seemed to follow her...
